Charged for the bottle of water in the room.

This hotel was very clean and has a nice courtyard with mature trees. There was a small bottle of drinking water in the room. It had a tag on it about how the water was for our convenience. In smaller type it said that if we used the water we would be charged $3.50. We didn't notice the small print till we had opened the bottle. The layout of our room was a bit odd, as the TV was to the side of the bed so it wasn't easy to watch TV if lying in bed in the usual way. There was only one chair suitable for using the wireless internet connection in a comfortable way, so my husband and I took turns. read more

It was quiet and easy to get around the UC campus.
The breakfast was terribly overpriced.

Clean, efficient and quiet. I would not recommend the breakfast, as it was overpriced.

Briefly, one side of the hotel faces a courtyard, and when they built it 20 some years ago, they did not destroy the beautiful pine trees there.

This was a wonderful place for the price. Mini-fridge, couch, balcony, roomy, comfortable bed, great breakfast, ample parking, close to the other end of Pearl Street with street musicians, children's attraction, very humane.

Some trouble with the key cards at the room and exterior doors.

Very clean and modern Courtyard with nice indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Well appointed rooms with very comfortable beds. Quiet heater and fan.
