Courtyard By Marriott Cleveland Independence

Hotel in great area that has easy access to downtown Cleveland and surrounding suburbs. Enjoyed our stay!

I asked for 3days/2nights. On Saturday, while I was in the shower, I heard someone trying to get into my room, with force. I got out of the shower and it was one of the staff. Asking me when was I checking out. Checkout time was at 11a.m., I told her that I am not checking out until tomorrow. I had to call down to the desk to find out what the problem was; they did not have the courtesy to even apologize, after the big intrusion/interruption. Sunday morning, I awaken by loud knocking at the door, it was housekeeping asking me what time was I checking out. I yelled checkout was not until 11a.m. Why are they gamming on my door, the housekeeper was very rude and said, she just wanted to know, so she could start cleaning. read more

I checked in for the weekend, 2 nights/3 days. Saturday, my shower was interrupted by staff coming in my room, unannounced. And, Sunday morning, at 9a.m., a big bang on the door, 'room service', when are you checking out!" I was so disappointed because checkout was at 11a.m. The staff was totally out of line. I was very upset.

The directions to the hotel were terrible.
GPS navigation gives bad directions.

This is a nice, clean hotel that has excellent customer service. We never had to go to the front desk, anything we needed from menus to extra face cloths it was brought up as soon as possible. I will recommend this hotel to family and friends!

This was a nice 3 star hotel close to interstate and located close to shops and other eateries. Staff was also helpful and friendly.
