I loved the huge bed. I especially appreciated the extra length the staff went to make me comfortable in the room for disabled people.
No swimming pool or hot tub.
I did enjoy being able to enjoy the view of the area from different perspectives in the rooms. It would have been very nice to have been able to soak in a hot tub as I suffer from a lot of pain as I await my hip operation. I do realize that a hot tub is not going to be put in for one person. I also appreciate that I was not charged extra when we asked about a room for people with disabilities. The staff was very helpful and more than willing to go the extra mile, as they say, in helping with my needs in that room. read more

Nice large rooms. Pleasant river view.
Valet parking is expensive at $22/day. Alternative parking is as expensive and scarce.

Location.
Parking.
Good location, in the heart of downtown. Parking your car was more than a bit overpriced.

Clean room & linens.
Expensive parking, large uncomfortable pillows (personal preference).
Although parking was expensive (~$20 over night), we did stay at a prime location Downtown Edmonton. Hotel staff upgraded us to a larger room at no extra charge despite reservations through Priceline. Very clean room and linens, but disliked the layout of the washroom. Big, no counters and just a small ledge to place toiletries/ cosmetics/ clothes. Otherwise, great hotel. Good choice for the price. read more

The location. I was told not to walk east of the hotel. Additional $22 parking fee.
I believe I requested east Edmonton in my offer. This hotel was downtown. The parking cost was unreasonable. The hotel is difficult to find.

The icebox.
There was no swimming pool or gym, parking is way overpriced, and no flat screen TV.
All you paying for is the name, there is no swimming pool or gym and no flat screen TV, parking is ridiculous. it costs 30 a night outside and 22 for valet, at the coast hotel down the street parking is 10 bucks.
