We were not aware that there was going to be a parking charge, and the $9.00 seems a bit steep for an unsecured parking lot.

The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly, the rooms spacious, and the views from the west side of the hotel were spectacular.

Coffee available in the lobby was not only free, but also delicious.
No smoking rooms.

Overall, my stay was as expected, and better than most of my previous hotel visits. The staff was friendly.

The location was great.
There was a billing problem that I had to correct.

Great location, clean nice room, the room was quite despite overlooking highway 80. The bathroom was a bit too bright and bland and our room overlooked the outside trash containers. Nice gated parking.

Updated rooms with high quality linens; upgraded us to bay view room.
Main parking lot fills up early leaving less well lit spaces if returning late in evening.

We attended a wedding in SF. It was easy to get into SF and return to the hotel. The hotel was beautiful and half the price of a SF hotel of the same quality. We stayed on a floor where painting was being done in some of the rooms. The workers were quiet. The only evidence of the work being done was a plastic tarp taped to floor in the hall by the rooms being worked on. We would definitely stay here again. read more

I liked the rooms and the hotel staff.
I don't think my pillowcases were clean.

Loved the room. Spacious, well decorated. The blankets were a bit thin and there were no spares in the closet. The Staff was really helpful and considerate. It would have been nice if the gym had been bigger - but overall the experience was good. It also helped that the hotel is located next to a very nice part of Emeryville- upscale shopping, good dining and desserts!

No Instructions concerning connecting to guest room wireless.

Great hotel in a excellent location. With Priceline it's the best hotel just minutes outside of San Francisco for the lowest price.
