The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The vending machines on both floors were not working, the television channels limited, no continental breakfast only coffee.

The Residence Inn at the Marriott is a much nicer hotel in every aspect compared to The Courtyard. I go to Manchester every year to complete all my Christmas shopping and have always been pleased, this past experience was OK but not the best.

The pool was fun and large enough for lap swimming.
Location could have been more central to town.

Decent hotel at a great price. Beds were comfortable. Room very clean and modern.

The 42'' flat screen TV in the rooms.

Over all it's a nice place, 100% smoke? I know they mean well but this will keep the hotel empty during the winter seasons. They won't even allow you to smoke on your outside balcony ridiculous. This will be the hotels down fall to many other hotels in the area that allow smoking. Think what you want we still have millions of travelers who smoke and have a choice.

I liked the separate toilet and tub together while the sink and mirror were located outside the bathroom door.
The breakfast was nothing to brag about.

Clean and adequate for a short stay.

The Courtyard by Marriot Manchester is located very conveniently near the Buckland Hills Mall and other upscale shopping. Lots of nice restaurants are in the area as well. Easy access to Hartford and the surrounding towns. Well maintained hotel, comfortable

Sloppy customer service.

Gave me a key to an occupied room. Gave me another room's express checkout form with personal info on it. Charged my credit card $.01 for absolutely NO earthly reason!
