Nicely decorated, very clean nicely laid out.

Hotel is clean - Lobby is attractive and spacious. No complimentary breakfast. The room was spacious and had two queen size beds. The hotel had no special charm but was clean and functional. The staff was professional and courteous.

This hotel is conveniently located for walking to sights, shopping and restaurants. Not only that, the staff is awesome. They were very prompt and accommodating and I cannot say enough good things about them. My room was very nice, spacious and should I ever travel to Norfolk again. I will certainly stay at this hotel.

Good location, friendly staff but the road works outside the hotel made it very noisy.

Overall, the stay was okay. The bed was super soft and it was hard to get comfortable sinking in the mattress. I didn't like the construction going on but not hotel's fault. The view from the rooms I had was not good at all. Parking is something of concern because they have valet parking but I used the city lot which is free on the weekends instead of paying for parking. View of the hotel is tricky cause you could miss it if you don't know where you're going. Also, the construction doesn't make it any better. Don't know if I'd recommend this hotel for out of towners until the construction is over. I'm a local and didn't like it that much. read more

The staff was very nice, accommodating, helpful and friendly. The beds were good but the 5 down pillows were GREAT! They truly made that bed sleep wonderfully! The hotel was close good shopping and the waterfront restaurants. The railway construction was the only drawback for the area. I would definitely go there again for the Priceline price.
