Courtyard By Marriott North Harbour

They rooms in this hotel were not nice at all, they were not clean, had a funny smell to them, and the air conditioning didn't work. It was worse then stay in in a 40 dollar 1 star motel. The pool was closed. We were unable to sleep because it was so uncomfortable and could not wait for morning to get out of there. I did not shower or allow my daughter to take a bath out of fear because it was so dirty. read more

Nice quite, clean, semi luxury and romantic hotel. Great for family and business trip. They have nice large garden, water fountain, gazebo by the river. My room also had a balcony overlooking the garden and river.

Staff was wonderful and friendly from front desk to housekeeping. We came into town for dance convention and ended up with sick child. I disinfected the room with my own purchased cleaners to hopefully keep staff and future guests from getting sick but when my daughter actually got sick on the bedding. There was not much I could do. The staff did not make us feel remotely bad about it and handled the situation promptly and professionally and even called back later to make sure we had everything we needed. They were fabulous. If you don't know Portland, it might be a little confusing to find the hotel but you can see if from i5 so you are going to find it eventually. I actually am semi familiar with the area and found it fine. When traffic is heavy it takes awhile to get back onto i5 but as long as you give yourself time, it isn't' the worse traffic situation and is well managed with traffic signals. read more

Staff was great, parking is easy. Room has special little touches. Great exercise room.

Our room was very clean and had a layout perfect for families with small children. There was a sofa bed in a little alcove so our toddler could go to bed early and we could stay up and read/watch TV. The parking garage is under the hotel with an elevator directly to the room floors so we didn't have to drag our luggage through the lobby and across the parking lot. Another plus when traveling with a toddler. The only down side was the lounge and restaurant were closed due to lack of business. I would have loved a glass of wine in my room. The staff offered to take me somewhere to buy a bottle of wine or call for dinner delivery. The desk staff was very friendly. read more

I would not stay at this hotel again or recommend it.

This hotel was under renovation at the time of our stay and even though the lobby was in disarray, it was never an issue - noise, dirt or otherwise. The staff were awesome- very friendly helpful and accommodating. We had an incredible room and view, the kids loved the pool and I loved the location (close to great shopping).
