The staff was the best we have experienced in a hotel in a long time. They were extremely friendly and went out of their way to give us extra service.
The jacuzzi next to the pool was out of order as was the dryer in the laundry room however, a staff member dried our laundry in the management's dryer.

Mariott Courtyard, Shady side in Pittsburgh is in an interesting, safe and convenient location if you do not need to be downtown. It is in the university district which offers wonderful, intimate restaurants and coffee houses. There is a Starbucks connected to the hotel lobby. A beautiful pool is available until 11 pm and the workout facilities are open all night. The staff is outstanding and full of suggestions for dining and touring. The shuttle takes you to restaurants and then comes and fetches you when you call. We were delighted with the hotel. Only complaint was the required $18 a day parking instead of any self serve facility. read more

Really comfortable bed and very quiet.
Valet parking is $18.00.

Lovely lobby with small bar. Room was comfortable and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Although valet parking was $18 (all hotels in Pittsburgh charge for parking) service was prompt and courteous. Overall, would definitely stay here again.

The hotel experience was very disappointing. The staff members mistreated us and were not cooperative with any request. This was the worst experience ever and I will tell everyone I know to never use price line unless they want to be punished for a weekend.
