Heart of Downtown, ten minutes walk to Gaslamp/Conven ctr, friendly/helpful staffs.
Family/leisure travel is fine, not meant for business travelers.

Great location. Right next to the house of blues
The hotel was great. It's an old bank that was converted into a hotel. Its right next to the house of blues, and up the street from Petco Park. Would definitely stay there again, if in San Diego.

The staff was personable and helpful.
No self parking available.
The hotel was very clean and had and interesting remodel from the bank it used to be. Big bathrooms and comfortable beds were the best part of the room. The old shower heads and paint left me wanting better.

The location.
Room size was a little small, was expecting something slightly larger.
Liked the location and the historic quality of the hotel itself. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Clean, well looked after, no surprises.
Very good hotel, in excellent location, and comfortable. Clean rooms although it is 2-3 stars, will be well matched with lots of 4 star hotels.

Staff was VERY attentive. The rooms were lovely. Loved the history of the hotel, was formerly a bank.
No Pool.
The staff was wonderful, very friendly. Parking could be a problem, as the hotel is downtown but valet parking proved to be very handy. Only wish there was a pool. Everything about our stay was great. We enjoyed a beautiful room and liked the whole historical aspect of the building. The staff and the hotel were both first rate!

The building is amazing for anyone who enjoys historical buildings.
It's too bad there isn't a pool or spa.
