Location to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
Dirty toilet and parking fee.
Hotel is in good location for travelers needing the Seattle Care Alliance. Close to restaurants.

It was easy to grab snacks, toiletries and even a bottle of wine from the lobby and charge it to the room.
Extra expenses were high (phone calls, parking). The restaurant wasn't open on a Sunday. The internet didn't work in our room.

The location was good for the price.
I found out after arriving that to park at the hotel it was an additional $20. Fortunately there is free public parking across the street on weekends.
I found the staff helpful and friendly. The lobby seemed newly remodeled but the rooms where a bit dated but spacious and comfortable.

The room was clean. It had a nice gym/workout room.
Poor ambiance, additional $20 parking fee, left a silk nightshirt, not turned in.
Had to pay a $20 parking fee, not known about until we arrived. Staff less than cordial at check in. Free parking offered, across street and railroad tracks would have been a poor choice. Neighborhood was just okay, wouldn't have felt safe walking in the area at night. Room was somewhat shabby, in need of remodeling. We could have stayed at the Silver Cloud, located within a half mile, but neighborhood much nicer in same general area, as well as room. Silver Cloud includes a very nice breakfast, and is much cleaner. We expected a nicer facility, and we would definitely not stay at this Marriott Courtyard Hotel again. read more

Lots of convenient parking with direct elevator access to room floor.
Dated decor; no refrigerator or microwave; no free breakfast buffet; dated TV with channels.
Out of date hotel located in a mixed neighborhood (my room had a view of downtown Seattle office bldgs. but had to look across a scuzzy parking lot with a chain link fence and the unattractive backside of neighboring buildings).

The views and proximity to Lake Union and downtown waterfront.
The parking garage was difficult to park in; there should also be a crosswalk to the park/lake across the street.
According to my nine-year-old daughter, this was the best hotel we've ever stayed at. We all enjoyed the convenient public transportation and proximity to popular attractions such as Lake Union, the Space Needle/Seattle Center and the Public Market near the waterfront. The view of the lake was terrific and there was little noise from the street or other rooms, making it easy to sleep in. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was reasonable and served a variety of good food. I would recommend this hotel to other traveling families. read more

Beautiful and functional decor.
Overwhelming mold odor from lavatory overflow drain.
Drain problem occurred just before we left so did not report until now. We expected the opportunity for feedback and so are reporting now. Other than mold problem, stay was excellent.
