Wonderful location!

This hotel was fabulous: the rooms were a great size, very nice bathrooms with large shower/tub. Impeccably clean and safe. Seems more like a 4 star than a 3star. Hotel staff went above and beyond check in time is posted at 3pm. We arrived at 8:30am, was told that our room wasn't ready which we obviously expected, they apologized for the inconvenience and had a room for us by 10am! What service! And did I mention we were here during Oktoberfest! Was very impressed with this hotel! read more

The location was great, the hotel accommodations and staff were very nice.
We would have preferred a king sized bed, but 2 doubles worked just fine

I was really surprised about how friendly the hotel staff was. They were alway happy to assist. The restaurant staff was also very friendly.

I received a smoking room when I requested a non-smoking.

Location within easy walking distance to central train station and Marianplatz.

The restaurant is first class and special orders are easily accommodated. Staff is excellent and got a cab at the last minute when our pre-arranged taxi didn't show up. This hotel remains our favorite even though we've stayed at the other Marriott before.

Comfortable beds, very clean rooms, great shower, great staff.
Area around hotel is a little seedy, but not dangerous.

Hotel is in a convenient location to the center of town. The rooms were spacious (especially for European standards) and thankfully air-conditioned as it was very hot during our stay. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was adequate in size and hotel staff were very pleasant. Only cons were that the hotel is in a bit of a seedy area (but definitely, not a dangerous or unsafe area) and the TV had no English stations except for BBC news and CNN news. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend to friends. Would definitely stay here again when in Munich. read more

Great, clean and comfortable hotel. Although easy walking distance to the Marienplatz. Modern, well laid out rooms.
Located in a somewhat seedy side of the town.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. Although the neighborhood could be better, never did we feel uncomfortable walking to and from the Marienplatz at night. Comfortable, quiet room and a great staff.

The room was comfortable and very clean. Much better than other hotels in Munich.

This hotel is only three blocks from the train station. We were coming in from a 14 hour train ride and it was wonderful to only have to walk a few blocks with our hefty bags. The hotel staff was very friendly and check-in was very fast. I liked the idea that you could use your credit card downstairs to purchase food - rather than having a mini-bar in your bedroom. This left us plenty of room in our fridge for our own stuff. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows were my favorite. The last hotel we stayed in in Munich used very flimsy pillows - but these were just wonderful. read more

Lobby was very impersonal and cold.

The location was great. It was near the train station and within walking distance to major sights. Thanks to Priceline, it was a great value.
