Construction in the parking lot..

We arrived at 2:00 PM and were told check-in was at 4:00 and told to return at that time. The people arriving at the same time were allowed to check in. It seemed that it may have been because we did not pay a premium price to stay.

The non-smoking floor smelled like cigarettes.

The hotel is central to downtown Albany.
The bathroom was in disrepair.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and had always found the hotel in good condition. This visit however was disappointing. The bathroom sink was cracked and there was a hole in the basin that caused water to spill all over the floor. The response of the hotel staff was poor at best.

There were 300 cheerleaders in the hotel that day.

We were disappointed that there were so many kids there. We could not relax. Also, the walls were paper thin.
