The Crown plaza at Dulles airport was very clean and upscale and no cigarette smell when I entered the lobby! The front staff was friendly and helpful.
Everything was great. I wished I could have stayed longer!

I arrived at the Crowne plaza at about 9 pm. It was late and other guests were busy going about their ways to their rooms. There were no out of place strangers wandering the grounds or inside. The other guests I saw were all professionals, either business or airline staff that were enjoying company in the restaurant or checking in. The entrance and check-in were well-lit in soft warm tones and the staff was approachable. read more

It was a nice hotel, but I would not consider it a Crowne Plaza hotel. It by far did not meet my expectations of what a Crowne Plaza hotel should be. Indoor pool was only open for certain hours and when a lifeguard was on duty. At least one evening the pool was closed during its normal hours because there was no lifeguard.

Was not the quality level that I expected.

This hotel was fine for a quick overnight at the airport. I would not call it a 3.5 star hotel.
