There is nothing to rave about. I should have chosen Holiday Inn.
No security. Someone banged on our door at 11:15 PM tried to enter.

This hotel is NOT convenient to LGA. There is no security. Someone banged on our door at 11:15PM and tried to tell us he was from engineering to fix our a/c. There was a do not disturb sign on the door, too. I refused to let him in. Called the mgr, who did NOT apologize, and told us someone called from our room for no TV. This was untrue and after he checked came back to the phone and he said it was an "honest mistake" and still didn't apologize. read more

Close to airport.
Not a very good area around the hotel.

Not comfortable area near hotel, not very good place to go out and eat. Room was satisfactory, but definitely didn't exceed expectations. Convenient to Laguardia for early flight. People were more concerned with Airline folks than regular customers.

The kids liked the pool.
Nasty hair in bathroom and construction in room above us.

Our great 6 day vacation ended with a stay at the worst hotel ever. When we arrived and used our bathrooms their was hair in there from previous guests. They put us in a room that had construction directly above it that started at 8am. We complained and they lied and said construction would stop and that it wasn't happening right above our room and my husband went up-stair to look and sure enough they were. They offered to transfer us to another room. We are going to wake the kids up in the other room and move all our things for 3 hours(purely a stupid attempt to accommodate the situation). Then part of the ceiling came down and landed in my mouth and body while I was laying in the bed. We were so mad by then we just checked out as soon as we could. read more

Hotel was easy to get in and out of
Based on my previous stays at Crowne Plaza, I was not impressed

Because I had stayed at Crowne in other cities, I was expecting a nicer room, with a better presentation. I would have compared our room to Hotels such as Motel 6 or other economy hotels.
