Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Far distance from downtown Pittsburgh.

The hotel is located near the airport but far from the city. The staff was very helpful. For business travelers the hotel is convenient with a lounge and coffee shop for breakfast.

The beds were very comfortable.
Nothing worked in the room/TV, coffee maker.

The room when
I checked in which was after 3.30pm was blocked by maids cart there was no shampoo or soap in the room and very little toilet paper. I did receive the supplies when I saw the maid about 10 minutes later. We then went out for dinner and after returning I turned on the TV and found it did not work so I had to call maintenance. They did resolve the problem. The next day I tried to use the coffeemaker and it did not work. It was a disappointing experience for me and my daughter. read more

The location was good for our needs.
Our room was not cleaned the third day we stayed there so we had overflowing trash and ran out of soap and shampoo.

I have stayed at Crowne Plaza hotels before and this one was not a good. There was mold in the shower and they called at 8:00 local time to tell us when they would be there to take care of the problem, which was 5:00 our home time and too early for a phone call. As I mentioned earlier, our room was not cleaned one day and we were left with too much trash and not enough amenities. I have never had that happen anywhere where I have stayed. On a good note, the bed was extremely comfortable and the desk clerks were very helpful and friendly (except for the early phone call). The restaurant personnel were also very friendly. read more

There were some broken things in the room.

It was nice and clean, the wallpaper in our room seems to be outdated, walls are thin, could hear people above us running down the halls late at night, we did complain to front desk, but overall this hotel is good for business travelers.

Much better than the last one, close to my daughter's team mate's hotel and close to the rink-friendly staff!

Staff was friendly at check-in, met my needs at the time and throughout the stay--clean, quiet and close to places I had to go to!

The employees were very friendly and understanding.
The tubs were old, black, and dirty.

The rooms were clean but the tubs were so black and nasty. I had to view six rooms before I found one with a tub clean to my satisfaction.
