View even when not on the lake side, large beds, cleanliness
No cafe latte (with hot milk)in the morning, KFC type food for dinner

Probably the best location in Lake Placid. Fantastic view. Short although steep walk to shops and downtown. Very clean hotel with nice rooms and large and confortable beds. Many families with kids come to this hotel.Parking is free.

Spectacular view from gorgeous room.
Public restrooms were old and had odor.

Certainly not up to standards of prices being charged for rooms. Very apparent it's the old Sheraton just spruced up a bit. Beautiful view of Mirror Lake from gorgeous adirondack bar area but inconvenient to get to village below.

Location and view were excellent, nice restaurant (Boathouse).

I cleaned up after my pet and had to search all over for a place to toss it. Otherwise than those two problems I was very happy and I would stay there again. The staff was remarkably friendly and helpful with the exception of the checkout clerk.

Beautiful lobby with windows overlooking the mirror lake.
Relatively old hotel that has been renovated.

This is a nice hotel in lake placid with good views of mirror lake. Buffet breakfast is very good and is worth the $11 fee.

After we booked we found out the entire hotel was non-smoking.

The location, the view and the great room.
The wait staff in the restaurant. They did not understand English very well.

The Hotel was great and the view awesome. My only complaint was that the Serbian wait staff in the restaurant did not speak English very well. This wasn't a big issue as most of the meals were buffet style. The Pasta bar was great and my son loved the cinnamon French toast at breakfast. This was at the casual restaurant.
