The free eye cover, and the bed and pillows.
Staff not friendly or helpful one bellman wouldn't get ice for my insulin, and I had cast on my foot.

I would only go back with my kids. Unless I am with a group of kids. Very helpful car parkers and van drivers. Much more friendlier then desk staff and other hotel workers.

They upgraded me to the executive floor, since my room was not ready yet, even though it was before check in time.
$10 for parking.

I stayed on a special floor, so I can only speak for rooms on that floor. It was lovely-bathroom was luxurious, bed was awesome, hotel staff went above and beyond. Wonderful!

Close to where I needed to be with not overly expensive parking.
Elevators were very slow, place is beginning to show age and mini-fridge in room would have been nice.

Nice hotel for the price I paid. The room was clean and had good space. It is beginning to show its age, but they seem to be keeping up with it, except for the fitness room where the equipment was old and in need of repair and/or replacement. A downtown hotel with nice clean rooms and affordable ($10) daily self parking means there is a chance I would stay there again.

All staffs were friendly and courteous.
Food in the restaurant and room service was bland and unimaginative.

Facilities of the Crowne plaza Richmond are clean and attractive, and the beds are among the most comfortable I have encountered in hotels. The staffs were competent and seemed eager to be helpful. For travelers driving, the parking is accessible and reasonably priced. An automobile may be necessary because there are no restaurants in easy walking distance, and the food in the hotel's restaurant, while plentiful, is bland and unimaginative. I did not avail myself of the hotel's shuttle to an area with restaurants. read more

Even the service people seem happy and say "has a good day" or "hello".
There was some kind of stale odor.

Pluses: parking only $10 bucks a night (when you are a hotel guest) and only for overnight - you don't pay the day you leave, which in Richmond is fantastic. "Comfort pack.

Well kept, nice, in the heart of Downtown Richmond. Only drawback was you could not order movies, I like to catch up on new movies when I am away on business.

Friendly Staff made up for any short comings the hotel had.
I thought room service menu could have been done better.

I recommend this hotel for adults on vacation or business travelers. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly to the guest. Any problems I had were handled by the staff in a timely manner.

Very pleased. I have been in every room of the Plaza Hotel in NYC and none are as nice.
