Very friendly staff, nice lobby, pool and exercise facilities.
Maintenance lacking on rooms.

This was a good overall stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool/hot tub was great for the kids, and the exercise room was well outfitted. The physical maintenance is lacking.

At our request, they put us in a quiet room on New Year's Eve.
The pool and hot tub were very cold!

Right off the freeway, this hotel is conveniently located. Pros: the staff was friendly; room was nice and cleans with a great view. Cons: There is not much common space, and the pool/hot tub was very cold! The main restaurant was closed so we ended up at the Smokey bar restaurant downstairs where the service and food quality were lacking.

Nice pool, nice room.
It cost me over $40 for a continental breakfast.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, I would recommend it. But the parking cost $10 in addition to the room price. I believe that if you stay at their hotel you should not have to pay to park in their parking garage. Also the restaurant was very pricey $40 for 2 adult and 2 small children to eat a continental breakfast is crazy. We made the mistake of being in a hurry and not looking at the menu before eating. Next time I have to stay in Richmond I will probably stay at a different hotel just to see if the others are better. read more

Old hotel smell, but that's ok.

It was nice to have an indoor pool when it was cold outside and to rest in the hot tub after much walking touring the city.
