Crowne Plaza San Antonio Riverwalk

Pulled into the self-park lot and was met by a passed out person in front of the parking garage elevator. Found out we'd be paying $23 a day for parking only to have to walk about 2 blocks (underground) to our hotel (with luggage). Hallways are ugly and dated. Had 8 people partying in the room next to us. Had a view of an inner-city Greyhound bus station. No snacks available in hotel, only beverage machines that didn't take dollar bills. Moved to another hotel because this one was so bad. read more

For the price I received I can't complain too much. There were a lot of older couples some families. Staff was professional and courteous. The bar tenders were great. Food wasn't too bad and prices were reasonable.some parts of the hotel looked outdated especially the carpet and some furnishings. Price wise it was good.

The room was beautiful and the view of downtown was breathtaking. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Just a few steps fron river walk.

I thought the hotel was a great experience! I didn't find nothing out of place.

Staff was friendly, hotel was not in a really good location in relation to the river walk, which is why most people stay downtown. Hotel states it's on the River Walk but it's actually on the part of the river that has no restaurants, etc. Somewhat misleading. Rooms were okay, but not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Hotel is old and it's obvious when you get to the rooms. Walls are very thin, heard other guests taking showers and flushing toilets all the time. read more

This is a beautiful hotel. We felt safe while staying here except when we had to walk on the streets to get to the river walk. It would have helped us if we had known in advance that there was construction between our hotel and the restaurants on the river walk. The staff was helpful and courteous.

The hotel and staff exceeded our expectations a million times over.

Typical hotel. Nothing really separated it from any other hotel.
