Location. The hotel is right on the beach.
There was no bell staff to help us with our luggage during check in.

You have to pay $10 for parking, which is understandable because you are right on the beach. The bathroom was small, but the location is phenomenal. We walked on the beach on Christmas Eve and our kids played on the playground.

Location on the beach - beautiful!
The bed was uncomfortable/ room needs refurbishing.

This 13-storey hotel sits right on Ventura's Gold Coast Beach within walking distance of the shops of old-town Ventura. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The rooms are smaller than those in other 3-star hotels, and the furniture could use some refurbishing. But the location of this hotel couldn't be beat.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable.

Our stay was enjoyable. Person at the front desk checked us in, and was very courteous. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!

The room was big, and the bed was comfortable!
Not a lot of restaurants to choose from.

The staff was very attentive. I cut my leg and they brought up bandages immediately. I was unhappy with the fact that they charged a daily rate for parking. I found that wrong. But the room was gorgeous, clean, and attractive - very romantic. Beautiful view of the ocean.

Location right on the beach!
The restaurant food needs improvement - breakfast.

This is an older hotel built perhaps when rooms were small with low ceilings. It was a tight squeeze with 2 beds. The balcony with ocean view made it worthwhile. Nice lobby with an excellent front desk staff.

Close to freeway and train tracks was so noisy.
