Friendly staff. The hotel is nothing to rave about, but if you like clean and very convenient and don't mind the lack of luxury then you should be satisfied with this hotel.

Grounds were in need of maintenance.

Basically clean but mattress and bedding were in need of an update. Upon returning to our room early one afternoon, we found our room door ajar!

This hotel does not deserve a 2 star.

Great base of operations for tourists to the Black Hills region. Well run, basic hotel.

The lobby and public areas were smelly and dirty.

This hotel is somewhat rundown on the outside. The inside was musty/moldy smelling and somewhat dirty in the public areas. The room itself was clean and fresh smelling. The bed was a bit uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable beds, unfriendly staff, over priced for the location.

I would not stay in this hotel again. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and I was charged extra to have a room with a two beds. There were nicer and cheaper hotels in the area, that were closer to my destination (Rapid City, SD).
