The hotel let me change the date of the stay without changing the rate or officially changing the reservation date.
Breakfast ends early at 9 AM.
Days Inn Abingdon is a good place to spend the night. Our room was clean and the staff flexible. It's a motor lodge, not a luxury hotel. My 2.5 stars is a ranking among all types of lodging. If I were to compare it to just motels I'd give it a 4. Remember to get your breakfast before 9 AM when they quickly shut it down.

It was very well kept and clean. The people were very courteous.
Just wish it was closer to Bristol Motor Speedway.
I would recommend this hotel very highly. For an older hotel, it was very clean and the people were very friendly and courteous.

Right off the interstate, easy access to historic district, several nearby restaurants.
A
bit shabby, clock didn't work and shower dripped, aloof morning staff.
I stopped for one night of a long road trip. It was a clean, comfortable and affordable motel. Perfectly adequate for my needs. The clock was broken and the shower dripped a little but there were no real problems. The morning staff was a bit aloof but there was a cold breakfast available along with make-your own waffles.

The staff was extremely friendly.
The location of the hotel was right off of the interstate, and there was a nice Cracker Barrel right next door. The front desk was extremely helpful, and gave us a free upgrade to a king due to high availability. When we returned two days later, on our way back home, the same attendant asked if we like our room from the other night, and when I said yes, he immediately handed me keys to the same room. It's nice to be remembered by a stranger. We will definitely use this motel any time we go through Abingdon. read more
