Davenport-Days Inn North

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The carpet in the room was stained and the bathtub was dirty. The location was not convenient to shopping or restaurants and pool is very small. On the bright side, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. When we asked for an iron/ironing board to be brought to the room, it was delivered within minutes.

Keys did not work in exit doors. Room smelled disgusting. Outer bedding was soiled. Carpet was sticky. Shower curtain was not properly installed. Hallway needed painting and was dirty. Was not pleased with my stay at this hotel at all.

Came to motel late at night, lobby looked ok, friendly staff. After getting room checked in and found room smelled like smoke. I had non smoking room and pets must have been allowed. Stains on floors and in hallway floor and walls. Holes in walls. Bathroom was clean with clean towels but had to get another room because of smells. Next room was a little better but if it hadn’t been so late I would have got another motel. I would compare this to a average 3rd world motel. read more

We would stay there again at that price. It would be nice for families with children as it has a pool. The nice free breakfast was a plus, but the hotel and the neighborhood are not very upscale. My husband didn't sleep well because of the hard mattress.

It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The hall carpets were dirty beyond belief. The first room we were given hadn't been clean for a long time. The dust was so thick that I could literally write my name in it. The bathroom was crusty. My spouse wouldn't use it. The next two rooms we were put in were almost as bad. Then we finally stayed in had been partially cleaned but whoever did it didn't change the linens. The front desk clerk did keep trying until she found us a room we could stay in and called back housekeeping to change the linen. When I voiced my complaint the next morning all I got was like I'm really sorry about that. read more
