Mountain Grove-Days Inn

Our first room had tools strewn about the floor and the toilet was taken apart. 2nd room reeked of cigarette smoke, so we opened window to air out. Because temperature was in 40s. I turned on heater which proceeded to emit a burnt rubber smell into the room accompanied with smoke. 3rd room was OK until it started to smell like cigarettes. This led me to believe that all the exhaust fans in bathroom are linked and therefore the smoke is coming in from the smoking rooms through exhaust vents. Food at continental breakfast. Enjoyed our stay and will use it again.

Very reasonably priced hotel. Lobby was clean and attractive. Staff was friendly. Good for a one night stay. Pool was small and not very attractive
weeds growing in the flower pots. Cold water. Staff wouldn't give us extra towels. Right. Weeds were growing all around the hotel. Railings for the second floor were chipping paint, wobbly and broken. Breakfast was very picked over, even though there were only a few families, when the food was gone, it was gone. No fruit, as stated on their sign. Very convenient location, right off freeway, near many food options. The main thing that bothered us, was the smiling Budah in the front lobby! It just felt weird. Good, reasonable hotel for our one night stay. read more

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was very good and easily available.

Hotel was nice-people were friendly-liked the open all night-desk and coffee service-was just a little disappointed in being placed in the very middle room-with 2 rooms on each side that were the oversize trucks that run in front and behind the oversize loads. These guys were only having a good time--which was great--but did hamper our sleeping efforts till around 2am.other than that-it was a very nice motel. Friendly service-excellent accommodations. Would recommend to friends-as every night Im sure-there wouldn't be the same party on each side. read more
