Days Inn Natchez

The hotel itself was very nice. The one manager in the morning was very unfriendly and her attitude was very nasty. She called my room and asked if we had a dog, I said no . She just hung up the phone. Then when I went to the office to request an iron she rolled her eyes as if I were bothering her. I asked if she had called about a dog she said I did why, and I told her we didn't have a dog but the people in the room two doors down did. She never said a word. Clean motel with very friendly people.

This hotel was not a 2 star hotel but was a 1 star, at most. We were very disappointed with the hotel. The first room they gave us had very wet carpet by the AC where it had been leaking and the room smelled moldy (from the leak?). The second room they gave us had an AC unit where the compressor (?) roared - the maintenance man was unable to fix it. The third room they gave us had an AC unit that was unable to keep up with the heat even though we had it set on the lowest setting. The rooms were very small, the carpet was worn, and the TV channels had considerable snow and interference. While the staff was very nice, they obviously couldn't do anything about the age and disrepair of the hotel. Also, their website only shows pictures of the building where the office is located - a new building. This is very deceptive as the hotel itself is old and tired-looking. We ended up leaving without staying our second night as the room was too hot, and we were tired of the hassles. read more

The view was nice.

Excellent front desk staff

There was few problems that needs to fix. All the TV station was fuzzy. The
AC unit need to be updated. It kept kicking on and off. The bathroom vent fan made noise.

I paid too much for a worn out economy motel.

We were down for a family funeral and the least I expected was some assurance and comfort when we returned to the room, but overall for the 2 night stay it was accommodating.
