Needed to be on the first floor since my friend couldn't walk the stairs. There was no problem switching rooms.
Hotel blankets were rough and holely.
I
would stay there again.

Nothing.
The lack of flexibility on the part of management to change to a non smoking room, which was available.
Almost bad experience which left me on hold for half an hour before refusing to get involved in a room change to an available non smoking room.

It wasn't accessible, it was far from downtown New Haven, there were limited places to eat, and the buses stopped running early in the evening. In order to stay there, my friend and I would have had to cross the highway in our chairs and try to get back and forth safely.

The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we have ever slept on.
The room was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and had easy access to I-91 which is what I was looking for. The only negative was that it was a little noisy 3:00 a.m, so I called the front desk to ask them to take care of it, which they did.

Staff tried to be accommodating.
Room reeked of smoke and the power went out, no back up lights to see in room.
The staff is friendly. I got assigned a smoking room even though I am allergic to cigarette smoke and the room reeked of stale smoke. The motel is in an area that prohibits opening a window to air the room. The cleanliness of the motel left something to be desired. Wouldn't recommend this motel unless there was nothing else available.

Staff.
No Elevator.
The appearance of the upstairs was much better than the down stairs rooms. Plus, you could not turn up the sound on the T.V. in either of the rooms we stayed in. No elevator and we had to carry all of our bags upstairs. This is not good for seniors.
