Hotel Guest Reviews of the Days Inn San Marcos
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.December 21, 2009

It was alright, definitely worth it for the price. The continental breakfast place is really small and there is not much food down there at all. There were these tiny bugs on the floor of the bathroom, and the faucets were switched so cold was hot and hot was cold. That was interesting. But it was really clean and the room was nice.

There was only one washcloth, and two towels (one of which was damp) that we questioned the cleanliness. We had to call and request more towels. There were plastic hangers on the floor in the vanity area which made us believe that the room had not been vacuumed since the previous guests.

Apparently this hotel has undergone a recent remodel. The rooms had new furniture which was nice. I was traveling alone and felt alittle unsafe because my room was on the far back side of the hotel.

No frills, but a good clean room and bed. Had a nice small pool for kids and adults. I would stay here again.

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There was a muddy shoe print on one of the blankets as well as dried crusty food. One of the pillow cases had a blood stain on it. The toilet had a black dirty ring at the top level of the water indicating it had not been cleaned in a while and the bathtub was dirty as well. The bathroom door would not close completely or lock.

The hotel was in a good location for shopping and entertainment. Have better mattresses in the rooms and make sure everything is working properly. Upgrade the toilet paper.
