The room was excellent, clean, and very nice.
On 2nd floor, wedding reception closed, very loud.

The hotel was beautiful itself. However, we were placed on the second floor with a courtyard next to us. Across the courtyard was the banquet room and there was a wedding. Extremely loud and some guest arguing. We could look out the window and see into the party through the windows. It was distracting and if my husband was with me he would have insisted on moving to another room. read more

The hotel advertised having free wireless internet, it did not. Our room had no hot water. The card-reader on the side entrance into the hotel did not function, so we were left standing in the rain. The hotel staff was unwilling to correct these deficiencies.

The door on our room would not latch properly, we found the room half open three times during our 2-day stay.

Excellent value for the price. Our stay was very affordable and the room has several amenities that you would not expect for the price: microwave, coffee, free internet, etc. The staff was friendly. We had a small problem with the lock on our door, but the staff was very helpful. Breakfast could use a few more options and they really mean it at 10AM they pack it up fast.

It was close by, cheap and the continental breakfast was nice.
I could barely slip by my husband's feet between the TV and bed.

It seemed that this place had been forgotten, the trim in the elevator was peeling and there were things like that around. It was fine though really for all we needed, felt safe and a good place to crash.

Nice environment and proximity to the train station Amtrak at staples mills, Richmond.
Gym is not well furnished and needs an upgrade.

Nice friendly staff, proximity to the train and great price. The Swimming pool was not functional, but it was a rainy day anyways and there was no use for it.

Clean and Comfortable
No sign at the corner; if you weren't looking for it you would pass it.

I was only in Richmond for a day but the one night my fiance and I stayed at this hotel, it was nice. The hotel staff was friendly and willing to help and the room was clean. It was very worth the price!
