The staff were very friendly and accomadating.
The air conditioner wasn't working and the room did not seem very clean.

The first night that we stayed in the hotel the air conditioner was not working and we woke up sweating. However, the staff immediately inserted a new conditioner in the room, which was an improvement. However, the appearance of the hotel was not great.

The room was nicely remodeled.
Parts were very run down. Difficulty getting things from front desk.

This was worth the money for a decent hotel in south beach. The beach is right across the street, but the heart of the night life is further down Collins Ave. This hotel is at 18th, but there are more things to do closer to 14th and down. All in all, it was great. No real problems. Ask for a remodeled room.
