It was clean.
Had one Microwave for the entire hotel to use. Terrible!
This hotel is conveinent for leisure on business travelers. The worst thing about this hotel is that no where on its site is it explained that they have a 28 dollar a night fee for parking your rental vehicle. This should be explained when your are making your reservation. I travel a lot with the military and some of us aren't rich so that 28 dollar fee could be our spending money that we budgetted for our 14 day stay in Hawaii. I will not be recommending this hotel to any of my military personnel. read more

Close to convention center and beach. Everything in great condition.
Charge for internet access. No microwave oven.

The hotel staff was helpful in all aspects.
Housekeeping does not check room essentials well.
Overall the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was great with our needs. Hotel was at full capacity and under renovation, so we did not get all our room requests and the full use of hotel amenities.

Very close to Bus lines and good location for Waikiki.
I did not like paying for internet access $10 per day and parking, $20 per day.
This is a very clean, well run Doubletree hotel. Excellent polite staff, clean rooms and comfy beds. Black out curtains actually kept the room dark, Hawaii or not a dark room is a must for me. The refrigerator in the room wasn't running cold, but if one stashed some ice in it, it worked as a cooler.

The location was nice, the staff was helpful.
Not really a three star hotel experience.
The hotel was okay, but the cupboards in my room were falling apart and had to be repaired twice during my stay. The food was atrocious. I'm not really all that picky, but the room service was literally inedible (except for the French onion soup - that was fine). I also tried ordering up from the restaurant and it was not good - the worst cut of meat I've probably ever had, and just not good for a $35 meal. read more

The location and it was quiet for a Waikiki location.
The public places were very limited.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the location was good. The pool was too small and it only had Sun in the morning.

The beds were comfy & pretty - but smelled like mildew.
Pervasive mold and mildew - Parking for $22 + valet that wasn't on duty was astronomical...odd entrance - no one around.
No one on duty to valet the car - tried to self park and couldn't - had to trust leaving the keys in the car to go upstairs to the vacant lobby. Room was nice but reeked of mold and mildew - hard to breath - only solution given was housekeeping sprayed deodorizer in the room - didn't help - mildew was pervasive...even in the pillows and sheets. Didn't even want to stay to experience the rest of the hotel, like the pool, spa etc...weird layout for the hotel...never saw any of the amenities if there were any. Staff was friendly...parking was astronomical at $22 + valet tip (especially considering there was no valet on duty when I arrived!) Can't recommend to anyone with breathing problems or allergies to mold...this could be hazardous to your health. read more

Hotel was fine, expect someone was smoking pot on the lanai next to me. I complained to staff and management, but they seems too scared to respond. No effort was made to confront the pot smoking guest. I guess the hotel does not believe the enforcement of laws should apply to their hotel.

Not good for Business or Romance.
Lucky if they ever get great reviews. Almost every other Hilton owned property has given better service and experience.
