Special.
Water dropping noise caused by upstairs air condition.
If you are light sleeper, don't check in the down stair room. I couldn't sleep all night due to the water dropping noise from upstairs air condition. It seems to me that the noise is not the hotel staff's concern when I told her.

Warm cookie at check in.
$9 parking fee for what? No valet, no covered parking, no secured lot.
Hotel had real potential to be good. Unfortunately there were some shortcomings.

Close to the highway and comfortable bed.
Floors were thin and the people above us were loud all night and early in the morning. Phones in the room didn't work
Hotel was not open for breakfast at a reasonable hour (Sunday didn't open till 11am). Room was really nice but people above us were loud and walking around most of the night and early morning. I liked the idea that it was a pet friendly hotel and next time will consider bringing my dog.

the rooms were comfortable, the beds great
terrible maze getting to rooms, dirty outside halls
with the exception of the rooms, which were very good the hotel is far below 3.5 rating. Little service, older workout equipment, dirty outside halls, ill planned access to rooms, a parking fee!, which is not appropriate for a sprawling facility, outside of downtown locationI would not recommend this hotel even to golfers

Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and beds were VERY comfortable
not that we didnt like it but one faucet knob broken in sink and towel rack broken but still nice room
Very comfortable beds and clean rooms...these are two huge things when traveling and both were met with appreciation for a good nights sleep!

Excellent hotel; resort-style for a very reasonable price!
Traveling with kids is not easy, so we look for hotels that have a pool, large lawns and other amenities to keep the kids busy. The Doubletree fits the bill in every way!
