The bed linens were clean.
It was dirty, smelly, run down and ugly.
Needs renovation.

The suite had a big bedroom and living room. Very comfortable and can accommodate a family if you use the pull out sofa bed. Nice place to stay in DC as long as you don't mind taking cabs. parking is a lot less than at other hotels as well.

Wonderful two-room suite.
No restaurant or bar.
We like Doubletree Hotels in general and so were glad to get an affordable room in this one so close to tourist sites in Washington, DC. The staff was especially helpful when we had a minor problem in the bathroom. Although there is no restaurant, the room service was timely, reasonably priced and good quality food. We would like to stay here again on another visit to Washington. read more

The front desk staff were very friendly and informative.
There is no place to park and the rooms were smaller than I expected.
Overall this hotel is nice. The staff are friendly, but the bellman is the valet and there is no parking so it is a slow process. The other problem is that the bellmen were older, which is lovely, except there was only one on staff at a time which slowed down service. The hotel was clean and organized. The full kitchen was lacking all the tools for an extended stay but for a short stay very convenient. read more

The stay in this particular hotel was disappointing at best. The hotel does not provide any parking; however, will gladly valet park your car for $28/day. We stayed in a room in which the air conditioning did not work the first night and we slept in sweat. We mentioned it the following day just to have the air conditioner still not working on a day that the temperature exceeded 95 degrees. I then found that there is only 1 vending machine in the entire 10 floor hotel; just to find that it too was not functional. I will never stay at this location again! read more

Spacious suite with a full kitchen, luxurious bedroom suite and separate living room.
Spacious suite with a full kitchen, updated appliances, current updated appointments and a luxuriously comfortable king bed. Located in Foggy Bottom on the George Washington University campus, a stones throw from Georgetown, the hotel was located on a quiet street. We had a wonderful time.

3 room suite is large. Staff was friendly.
Must pay for parking@ $28/day.
Nice hotel. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Hard to find without specific directions. Location in relation to tourist sites is out of the way but if you learn the subway system, getting around is easy. Located by the Watergate complex in the western part of city. Would stay again.
