The bed and pillows were like sleeping in heaven!
Our room was right next to the pool, our room was very noisy because of the pool. Children hung out at our bedroom door. Should of been made aware.

This hotel was excellent, except we are an older couple traveling. Originally we were given a room on the fourth floor, but asked for a room on the first, due to my husband had recently had major surgery. They graciously did so, however the room they gave us was right next to the pool. Our room was very noisy from that area and children were running and playing at our door until 11 at night. We should of been told that it would be noisy, especially with them knowing the medical issues we had. The hotel itself is wonderful and the bed and pillows were past excellent. Just had to wait till midnight to sleep. Too bad. This took a great time to a can't wait to get out of here. read more

The Doubletree Hotel was more than I expected. I slept like a baby in their luxurious bed, there was plenty of towels (both in bathroom and by the pool) and the food was delicious. I am very glad that we chose to stay at this hotel. The location was very easy to get to, and it was only a few miles away from Saugatuck.

My daughter loved the facilities.
We requested a non-smoking room but our room and the hall way were filled with the smell of cigarettes.

What would have been a wonderful stay was ruined by smokers and the hotel's inability to put us in a non - smoking room. Even though it was labeled non-smoking, we were right off the lobby. They were low occupancy and they could have placed us further away from smoking areas. also, the bathroom was dirty. My wife shouldn't have had to clean the bathroom on our weekend getaway.

The bed was extremely comfortable.
Breakfast buffet was average.

For the price, the location and comfort of the hotel was spot on. The room was spacious, with a small sitting area. Plus, you get free cookies upon arrival!

Room service from the bar.

Our experience was lovely the room was great very clean. Room service from the bar was not good, no silverware no dressing for are salad. No steak sauce for are steak. Needs some improvement.

Were not caring.

During our stay, the power went out and we did not have use of the facilities and still were charged for the room. They only adjusted the bill $20 after I was displeased. Very dissatisfied on how we were treated by the staff when checking out.

The location for us was good.
It needed many repairs-phone, air, sink did not drain.

As we enter the room we notice beer bottle caps line up in the window. We try to the phone call another room they and could not hear us and nor could we hear them. The sink drained very slowly. As we check out the next am the desk clerk did not notice us waiting for several minutes and went to another customer until I brought it to her attention we had been waiting and only said how busy she was. All repairs were brought to there attention when checking out. read more
