The hotel was nice and clean, but a distance from downtown Berkley. They will drive you for free to Bart up to 10:30 pm.

Nice & quiet surroundings and easy access to freeways from the hotel.
Hard to access hotel coming from south of freeway.

It give you a good price on ordinary days and not sure on the weekend. Overall is

My room was really far, its like
I was almost at another hotel. Other then that everything was great!

The hotel was very good.
I would definitely come back. The only thing is you definitely have to have a car cause there is basically nothing around.

Balcony -- cool fresh ocean air in an instant.
Lots of business men with crack whores in the bar/pool.

This hotel was just OK. I'd give them a B-. The hotel staff was nice enough. But the rooms/halls are down in the cuff. I stayed three nights. My room wasn't cleaned one day. I was accused of napping and re-dirtying my own room.

Hotel is isolated with no services around it.

Hotel is in beautiful setting, but is isolated from other services and not within walking distance to Berkeley.

The bed was great, the TV was a nice flat screen and the hotel grounds were nice - 2 indoor pools. The location is perfect right on the Marina.
The walls, ceilings and carpet should be updated.

I would recommend this hotel for any reason. Although the rooms are a bit outdated, the overall experience is good.
