Shuttle to downtown area.
Bathroom too small, staff less than stellar, hassled us about needing 2 beds and crib.

Our room was on the 12th floor. The bathroom was so small that I had to put my child on the sink in order to close the door and get to the tub. The tile was ugly in the 70's and still is. The sink was chipped and needed repair. There was a sign asking us to re-use towels. Normally I would not have a problem with this but there was no place to put a towel so it wasn't touching the toilet, floor, or nasty door. I had to get the manager involved to get 2 beds and a crib. We did not eat in the restaurant because the prices were too high even for a downtown hotel. The only good thing was the shuttle to the downtown area which saved us additional parking fees. read more

It has a great view, with nice sized rooms
The rooms and halls smell musty

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel with my family and we have enjoyed both stays. This time there were two wedding parties and we felt like the hotel did a great job at not making this a problem for its other guests. The only bad thing that anybody has had to say about either of our stays is the musty smell in the hallways and rooms; not overbearing, just there. But I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in downtown Omaha. read more

Location
Older, beat up furniture, no conditioner in bathroom.

Location of hotel is good, downtown Omaha. Hotel is older, everything in it needs a face-left. Small, blah pool. The room seemed mismatched, and the furniture was beaten up. Did not seem classy at all.

Loved the cookies!
Pool was small. Room unattractive.

If you are looking for a good place to stay close to downtown with a sense of security, cleanliness and ease of access to downtown or the zoo, this is a great hotel. We were traveling with little ones, so the pool was a little disappointing.

Great cookies upon arrival and friendly staff.
Multiple long exposed cords (TV, Telephone, Lamps, Cable, etc) easily accessible to our 2 young children - fire hazard and strangulation risk.

Overall, this hotel was very nice for the price we received on Priceline. We received warm cookies when checking in which was great for young boys, and the staff was very pleasant. There were a few things noticed such as duct tape on the wall holding who knows what in place. They also had multiple long cords/phone lines/cable lines, etc. running along one wall exposed and easily accessible. Obviously, we don't expect a place to be childproof, but our 2 year old noticed these cords immediately and attempted to wrap himself up in them just as we were lugging suitcases in the room. Also noticed some wires were openly spliced and a potential fire hazard. These seem like a few problems that could easily be remedied with a little effort and definitely make the room both comfortable and safe. read more
