Currently completing a renovation following DoubleTree's recent acquisition, this pet-friendly hotel still seems to "exceed the expectations" of some travelers; though it's "not near anything at all" other than "a shopping center", it does offer a "free shuttle to the Naval Academy/Annapolis" and the "considerate" staff makes "check-in and check-out very easy", plus there's an "adequate", if "small", exercise room and those "great" complimentary cookies; most are hopeful the redo will spruce up "bathrooms that need help" and fix those malfunctioning amenities.

My room-mate would have liked a little more space in the room.

Great location, helpful and friendly staff, comfortable beds, and Starbucks in the lobby this was the perfect place to stay!

Great swimming pool.
Hall I had to walk through on 1st floor to go to elevator from lobby was jammed with people at a reception. I was in tennis clothes.

Very nice hotel and room and pool.

Accessibility from highway & to restaurants.
Audio did not work on some of the main channels of the TV. The commode is too small.

It was ok but definitely not 3 star qualities. I have stayed in other doubletree hotels that were much nicer.
