Doubletree Hotel Atlanta/Marietta

Easy to find, close to dining, immaculate interior, helpful service.

This hotel is located conveniently off I-285, near restaurants, entertainment and shopping. The rooms are attractive and spacious, and they provide real glasses and a nice little coffee maker and liquid creamer - not just the powder stuff!

I would recommend this hotel. Very nice lobby and rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable. All the staff was courteous. Things were very clean. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly. I would stay again.

I called the hotel early in the day to request 2 double beds in lieu of a king. They said they were unable to alter the reservation and could make the request when we checked in. I have made the request many times previous with hotels and it was never a problem before. When we arrived (late) there was a room with 2 doubled available and we were accommodated. However, the front desk left the original room number on the key jacket and verbally told me the same. When we attempted to enter the room the keys obviously did not work. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms.

We stayed at the Hyatt regency in Marietta earlier in the same week. The difference between the two hotels was striking. The Hyatt provided a microwave, refrigerator, sink, breakfast table, a second television, and a second desk. I am not a frequent traveler, but was surprised by the difference between the two three star hotels.

The hotel is fine. Staff unfriendly. Only negatives are staff and that the hotel is very close to an air force base. Occasional noises during the daytime hours.

Overall it was a good stay, but we have a young son and the hotel was not for him. He did enjoy the pool; however there weren't enough towels and it would have been nice to get some drinks by the pool. The restaurant food was not very good we ordered off of the menu and the server pulled some of our food from the buffet right in front of us! The front desks staff was excellent and helped us find a couple of very good restaurants in the area. Overall it was a good experience. read more

The hotel was everything I thought it should have been and the staff was very helpful. They have a great lost and found for electronic cables left behind. The room service was excellent the food was awesome I would suggest the precut shrimp dish.
