The room we received at this hotel was very spacious.

It was a very hot day in Bakersfield when we arrived. The air conditioning in the room was working perfectly and the room was very cool when we entered.

Hotel is directly located off the main freeway with nice ammenities readily available. Friendly atmosphere

It was convenient to a concert we attended.
The vending machine did not deliver what I selected.

The Doubletree Hotel has the best cookies and friendliest staff in Bakersfield. We have a wonderful stay.

The beds were very comfortable and large rooms.
Cleanliness in the hall ways and stairwells could have been better.

We enjoyed the warm cookie and ice water at check in. After a long drive this was nice. The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Employees were very polite and helpful.

Customer service was fantastic.
Ants in the room.

The hotel itself was nice. There was construction on the parking lot, so it was quite a hike to the lobby. Upon check-in, I noticed a couple of ants in the room. I didn't think much of it, until I left and came back from dinner. The cookies they gave me at check-in were covered with ants! I called the front desk and within 10 minutes, was taken to a new, ant-free room. Overall, it didn't change my opinion of the hotel. It was a very nice 3-star quality hotel. read more

Good clean room with TV & computer access.
Heater in this particular room did not work. Mint. Man could not make it work.

My wife and I and other members of our family use this hotel frequently. Overall, we are well pleased.

Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds.
The parking/parking lot could be improved - repaved and striped.

Very satisfied with our stay. The staff were very friendly. Graciously accommodated our request for adjoining rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Will stay again next year.
