Warm cookies when you check in, nice surprise.
Not as close to Historic sites, as I thought it would be, on the opposite end of the town.

Nice enough property, very friendly staff, nice pub type restaurant on premises. The pool looked great but was very open to view from the restaurant, and main corridor from lobby to elevators for my fat old body to feel comfortable swimming in.

Close to location we desired.
We could not get a non-smoking room.

The hotel is nice, we have stayed there before not using Priceline. We like their non smoking king rooms, but we had to take a smoking two double bed room.

The location was perfect and the room was lovely. The hotel was newly renovated and very up to date and attractive.

The hotel was quiet and the beds were
very comfortable.

microwave and refrigerator would be nice for longer stays.

This Doubletree hotel has the most comfortable beds I've found in a hotel in a long time. Four pillows per bed was a welcome touch. The pool, while small, is enclosed and inviting enabling all weather activities. The exercise room is well equipped and close. The hotel is small enough that nothing is very far away.
