90 million
dollar renovation and it showed. Very clean and big rooms.
Great location, only 3 blocks to Joe Louis Arena. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were very nice. 2 queen beds in one room with flat screen
TV and in the other room was pull out couch with flat screen. Nice room for 3 of us to share.

Room was comfortable and it was quite plau housekeeping didn't bother me.
Nothing everything was fine.
The hotel was cozy and clean, I liked that they are a green property and that no one bothered me so I could rest and enjoy the property. I will stay at the brand of property again.

The staff, probably the nicest staff I have ever encountered in the lobby and restaurant.
Valet was very busy at times. Tried to call ahead for my car they said they were too busy, I just had to come down and wait in line.
Was a little hesitant to stay in downtown Detroit. This was by far the nicest staff and accommodations I have stayed at in many years. I will definitely try to stay here again as well as recommend it to others. Did not want to leave, would have stayed another night, but they were sold out. The staff gave the impression they all got along great with each other and it showed.

I loved how they gave me warm homemade cookies with my keys at check-in.
I did not like how over night parking was $20 and the lot next to it was $10/day.
The hotel staff was excellent! At check-in I was given two soft warm homemade chocolatechip cookies along with my room keys. The first room I was given was extremely beautiful but reeked of cigarette smoke. When I told the front desk, they immediately reassigned my room and gave me a free full breakfast voucher. My breakfast would have been $38 not including the tip, if I didn't have the voucher. My gourmet breakfast was delicious! I will be staying at there again in the near future. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I gladly tipped throughout my stay. read more
