Great lobby, beautiful inside and nice rooms.
I loved our stay at the Double Tree. This hotel gives you warm cookies at check-in and has friendly staff. Thankfully they were accommodating with getting a king when Priceline books you with a double. My fiance and I loved our room and the bathroom was a good size.

This hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
The $14 nightly parking fee was annoying.

Close to John Wayne airport, the fitness room was my favorite with free weights and machines.
The parking was a little cramped.

The steak in the Steak and Egg breakfast was one of the better breakfast steaks I have ever had. I had it 3 mornings in a row.
We didn't know that the shuttle ran every half hour and not on demand.
Beautiful lobby and helpful staff. When we learned that the shuttle was scheduled on the half hour the staff accommodated our need to leave for the airport 10 minutes prior to their normally scheduled departure.

This hotel was very unsafe.
I entered the hotel at night and was heading toward the hotel room. A weird guy was following me from the parking lot. As I entered the hotel, there was no hotel employee at the counter or anywhere else. The strange man followed me up to my room. I felt very unsafe in this hotel.

It was in the Costa Mesa, CA area that I picked but the hotel was located in Santa Ana. Not so great an area! Disappointed to say the least!
Hotel it self was fine. The area Is not Irvine, Cost mesa that I choose but I guess it is with in the map area. Not fair!

I liked that I had Internet access. The warm chocolate cookie upon check in was a nice surprise.
Street traffic woke me early in the morning and I was surprised by the $14 parking fee.
