Direct beach access and close to Lincoln Rd (shops and restaurants).
No fridge or microwave and the room was tiny.
This hotel had a nice appearance including front entrance and main lobby. Perfect beach access, comfy beach chairs (for a fee), with the nicest and most courteous valet staff. The room was quite small and felt somewhat cramped. The bathroom was equally small. However, the pool, beach access and proximity to shopping compensated for the room size.

The location.
Room was very small an bathroom was sub-standard.
It's great for a night or two, but I wouldn't schedule a vacation here.

It was clean, has space, and has air conditioning.
Windows faces the next building.
Relative to many hotels where I have stayed in south beach, this is a pretty good hotel. The quality was better than I expected.

Fantastic location with great scenery, convenient to walk to restaurants & south beach.
Rooms are very small with no workspace.
Beautiful location on south beach, in walking distance to great restaurants and nightlife. Rooms are clean but very small and best used as a brief resting place only.

Fantastic location beachfront near safe shopping/dining.
Windows in room don't open - no way to take in fresh sea air!
Fine example of doubletree. Classy, warm, modern, with nice, professional staff. Location couldn't be better in heart of so be shopping/nightlife, with anything you could want less than 10 minutes' walk away. Windows in room don't open, as seems to be the case all over Miami beach - inexplicable.
