Its in the downtown Ottawa which is the added advantage for me. Premises are good. Price is pretty cheap.
I did not like the cleanliness.

It was really a good experience. I would recommend this for my friend/relative who want to visit Ottawa.

although old with original fixtures and carpets- moderately clean
too many homeless people who look to have bad drug addiction problems at all hours, especially evening- didn't feel safe there

The hotel is a very standard accomodation. I had no issue with it. It was clean, the ice machine worked, and it was quiet enough to sleep. However, to be close to the Parliament, I would choose to stay over the river next time.

Fast internet. Free breakfast.
Didn't seem to be very safe. No fridge available.

Good for the price. Further than I thought from downtown but very fast internet.

Excellent location and room came with refrigerator.
It was very noisy at night.

I wasn't too happy the first night of our stay. The bed was hard. The pillows were soft. The noise of the other guests hanging out on the balconies kept us up. The room I was in was next to the stairwell and ice machine. Guests coming in and out, ice machine water valve kept turning on every 22 seconds and kept us up. Thank goodness we were too exhausted the next night for these issues to bother us.
Next time we are in Ottawa, I'll spend the extra $40-50 per night for more upgraded accommodations.

Only one thing: Close to Ottawa downtown.
Hotel service and surroundings.

I talked to three different people, one was very helpful. 2nd one was OK. Third one (who spoke French mostly) was the worst one. His attitude only made sure that I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good/free parking facility, free WiFi, decent location, and cheap room.
Located in a very sketchy part of town, next to a mission, lots of homeless people around.

Free parking, free breakfast and walking distance to downtown.

The motel room was extremely clean. We all enjoyed the free continental breakfast. The variety of food was much better than I expected. I certainly would stay at this motel again. The free internet service, the television channels, microwave and coffee maker were an added bonus.

Good place to sleep.

We stayed there for my daughter’s convocation Carleton. My daughter and I stayed together. It was just what we needed.

Less than one mile or walking distance to the heart of downtown Ottawa.
Breakfast isn't the best.

Location is absolutely amazing. Restaurants (Korean, Lebanese, East Africa) right around it. Free parking and free wireless internet plus clean bed rooms and bath rooms, walking distance to downtown. What more can you ask for?
