The Econo Lodge is conveniently located in historic Gettysburg, close to many historical points of interest and landmarks, including the Eisenhower National Historic Site, Gettysburg National Military Park and Battlefield and the Boyds Bear Country. There are several nearby restaurants that cater to a variety of tastes and budgets. Our guests will enjoy a free continental breakfast daily, refrigerators and microwaves in all guest rooms. Our spacious guest rooms are designed for your relaxation. If arriving late please indicate estimated time of arrival on reservation or contact hotel with arrival information. Greyhound weekend is April 24-26, 2009. Overnight room rate includes one pet at no charge. Additional pets will cost 10.00 per night during this weekend only. read more

It had free internet access.
Non-smoking room smelled like stale cigarette smoke.

The hotel was adequate. Clean. Good bed. Refrigerator and microwave. The walls were thin. There was no desk. Just one chair for two people. Dumpster picked up trash at 3:30 a.m. Active train tracks across the road blowing whistle at night. Said there was a free breakfast but didn't tell us where it was located. Come to find out, it was a tray of donuts and coffee in office. No place to sit and eat. read more

The woman at the desk was very rude when I asked about the room being nonsmoking.

The room was fine, the only problem was the desk person.

Room had a heavy stale smoke smell and air conditioner had a bad smell when outside air humidity increased.

The location of restaurants, and retail stores.

Close to restaurants, retail and gas stations. Needs better sound proofing you could hear the other guests.
