The facility was old and dated.
Amenities were few and hotel was very old.

Nothing except a decent central location.
Everything - there is nothing to recommend it.
This place is a dump, economy rating or not. The hotel is very, very old and sorely in need of updating. The rooms are small. There is inadequate parking. The air conditioning was broken throughout the hotel - my room was 90 degrees upon check-in, with no hope of relief. Staff was not understanding and offered no suggestions for this - it seems to be a common occurrence.

It's a family run motel so you get a very personal touch.
The shower head was really low and a little anemic.
For basic amenities we couldn't have asked for anything more. It was safe and clean and affordable. Really, that's about all I ask for in a hotel. The nice thing was that the owners ran the front desk so I wasn't just dealing with some hourly drone or corporate lackey while checking in. Those kind of people are usually professional but cold and impersonal. This was the total opposite. read more

The hotel was described with view on mountains in fact the mountains were very far, but we had a good view on the parking lot and on the road.
The rooms have view on the parking lot and on the road, so it was noisy our room was dark and cold, and not very comfortable - breakfast was included, but there is no room to sit to take the breakfast.

The heater worked pretty well.
The TV was really small.
The TV was super small, but the hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable, that's about all I wanted. I didn't like that they shut down the "continental" breakfast at 9:30am.alot of people eat breakfast a little later than that.

My room had a full kitchen and a little desk.
The heat sucked, The door wouldn't lock. The clerk was comatose. The shower was ill.
Fifty bucks is no deal for this run-down musty derelict on the outskirts of town. The heat sucked, the door wouldn't lock, the clerk was comatose and the shower was. Then again it is Durango and perhaps one shouldn't complain.
