Description of Econo Lodge Melbourne
This Econo Lodge is conveniently located off I-95 near many restaurants, shopping and attractions. We are only minutes from the Atlantic Ocean-Melbourne Beach. Our hotel features an outdoor pool and ample parking for bus tours and large groups. All recently renovated rooms feature hair dryers, 25 inch TVs with HBO, ESPN, and complimentary high speed wireless Internet. Micrwaves and refrigerators are available upon request for a small fee. We have an on-site International House of Pancakes. Hotel is 100 percent smoke free. All King rooms have sofabeds. Fine of 100.00 USD for smoking in guest room. read more

This place should not currently be open for business.

Inept staff. Bed bug bites. Almost non-functional shower heads. Total lack of organization. Trying to keep track of open and clean rooms on scraps of paper. An hour wait to check-in when only 5th in line.

The pool area was well maintained and the bed was very comfortable.
The hotel was almost completely vacant and felt very unsafe.

This is a bare minimum, economy motel. The room was comfortable considering the price but not fancy at all and the carpet was badly stained. There seemed to be a shortage of towels and bed linens but it was clean. Ice and vending areas were poorly lit and because the motel was almost entirely vacant and the motel has 4 sprawling buildings, it felt like a dangerous place to walk around. I would recommend that guests request a room by the pool as that is the nicest area. read more
