Economical and comfortable.
Check out at 11.
This hotel was as good as it needed to be for the purpose of having a place to crash before a noon-time football game. It had more cable channels than most
I have stayed at.

All of the staff was most pleasant always.
It is just very old, run down, smells not so great, needs remodeling.
Even on a UVA football weekend, I just can't stomach paying over $100 a night for this hotel. Nice people work there, but it is just way too outdated.

Comfortable beds.
Hard to find based on map & instructions. Icy parking lot.
Hot shower & a place to sleep.

Close to many places we needed to visit.
Wanted to charge extra for everything.
This hotel was definitely not well-kept. They were in the process of changing carpets is some rooms and the new carpet and the old carpet was strewn everywhere, on the sidewalks in the parking area. It was raining and very difficult to walk with all the debris around. I called upon receiving confirmation of my offer being accepted and asked for two beds. I was told that would be fine. When I arrived I was given a room with one bed and was told two beds world cost me more. I asked for a rollaway and was told that would cost me more. read more

Nothing.
The evening teller (9:00 pm) was rude.

I didn't like anything about the hotel.
I was under the impression that a standard hotel room is equipped with two beds unless specified. After I checked into the hotel my room had one full size bed. I was not satisfied with the service of the hotel.

Poor location, run-down, hard bed (small), peeling paint, limited electrical outlets but, the duty clerk was friendly and helpful.

It was simple but close to everything. Not to difficult to access.
There was a student party happening on the end of the street and if we had needed quiet, it did not happen.
A very respectable, clean one-star hotel in a town that is very expensive ordinarily. It is close to good restaurants and the University. The hotel met our every expectation.
