Not much.
Dump.
Wasn't as close to JPJ arena. Stay at the one right across from arena if thats what you're looking for in a motel. Stay here if you plan on drinking beer from the trunk of your car.

Close to where we needed to be and affordable.
Very outdated and not real clean. Didn't even have alarm clocks or hairdryers.
Very bare-bones hotel. Although the room was good sized, it wasn't real clean, and lacked so many amenities - alarm clock, hairdryer, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave. There was no fitness center either. It did have a decent breakfast area, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Economical and comfortable.
Check out at 11.
This hotel was as good as it needed to be for the purpose of having a place to crash before a noon-time football game. It had more cable channels than most
I have stayed at.

All of the staff was most pleasant always.
It is just very old, run down, smells not so great, needs remodeling.
Even on a UVA football weekend, I just can't stomach paying over $100 a night for this hotel. Nice people work there, but it is just way too outdated.

Close to many places we needed to visit.
Wanted to charge extra for everything.
This hotel was definitely not well-kept. They were in the process of changing carpets is some rooms and the new carpet and the old carpet was strewn everywhere, on the sidewalks in the parking area. It was raining and very difficult to walk with all the debris around. I called upon receiving confirmation of my offer being accepted and asked for two beds. I was told that would be fine. When I arrived I was given a room with one bed and was told two beds world cost me more. I asked for a rollaway and was told that would cost me more. read more
