The free evening cocktails, and free breakfast.
Bed, and pillows were uncomfortable.

Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Late night, early morning there was a loud high pitch sound, and believe it was the showers running in adjacent rooms. Between that, and bed, not a good nights sleep. Several young kids soccer teams staying at hotel so common area was noisy, and busy but can't hold hotel responsible for that.

The front desk staff was helpful, the majority of the staff was freindly. Good breakfast.
Slightly dirty bathroom, behind door. Overflowing pool with standing water on the floors.

Overall, the room met our needs well and most staff members were friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast was great. The swimming pool was over flowing and there was standing water on the walkways which was slick even when walking. It was a very nice place to stay and was fairly convenient with easy highway access to the rest of the Kansas City area.

Housekeeping came around to early.

Myself and 3 other women stayed here over labor day weekend to go see the nickel back concert, our stay overall was pretty good except for a couple of things. One of the ladies slept in the pull out sofa bed and noticed when she went to pull the covers over herself that there was a pair of socks left in the bed from the previous stay of someone. Yuck - this tells us that the sheets on that bed had not been changed since the last person slept there. Also the sink in the main bedroom kept backing up and water would sit in the sink until the toilet was flushed. When we went to go tell the front desk when we were leaving as an FYI, we were told that nothing could be done and that the incidents should have been reported at the time when they occurred. All right stay but should have stuck to my first choice of the Sheraton suites on the plaza. read more

Staff was very friendly the rooms were spacious with great accommodations and we got the room at 1/2 the price the hotel was charging.

I really liked the lobby, free breakfast, and the two-room suites.
The bathroom did not have a fan (for the steam from the shower).

We didn't like not being able to get two rooms adjoining, one king, one w/two double bds, we requested extra pillow/blkt never delivered. oh well!

Very convenient location, rooms are nice and spacious and clean, hotel had a great breakfast and pool.
Very slow elevators and under renovations.

This hotel was so convenient and helped make our stay in Kansas City very nice. The rooms are spacious with a fridge and sinks everywhere. We really enjoyed the full breakfast in the mornings and the pool during the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
