Plentiful free breakfast.
I called two times, 2 hours apart to ask for wash cloths and glasses and no one ever came.

This is a nice hotel in a nice area. I have never had the experience, however, of calling housekeeping twice with a simple request (wash cloths and glasses) and having no one show up. I called at 7:30 pm and again at 9:30. When I made the second call I was asked to let them know if no one came (I guess they considered this an option). No one came.

Like it all.

Fantastic hotel. Very kind to weary travelers who were moving their daughter into college on the first day of check in. Quite a home away from home for older parents who did a lot of schlepping and toting. Room service the night of the move-in was an absolute plus.

Breakfast was wonderful. The workout room had a lot to offer and La Jolla was an excellent location, so many seals and sea lions everywhere in the cove.

Too many children running around at breakfast. Parking $19 seems high.

Large family oriented in business park with many restaurants nearby.

After we checked out and got home, I realized I left my i-touch in the room. I called spoke to the concierge. He went to the room and found my i-touch.
Out or 6 washer dryer hotel claimed it had, only 2 were working. Pool has too much chlorine. Room in front of elevators. Parking was $19 a/day.

Very well run hotel! Staff is friendly. Very helpful concierge. Nice that it is right across the street from an upscale outdoor mall.
