Embassy Suites Hotel San Luis Obispo

Staff was nice.

Great staff, very helpful and friendly.

Hotel was nice and clean. With drinks and snacks on the house.

Spacious entry and has two rooms if there are more than one guest. Inside rooms, feels safe, easy parking, clean. Only thing which was not good was the breakfast the potatoes were like frozen and were dry. There was a good variety, and the food was plentiful, it was the cooked breakfast not very tasty.

It is always hard to travel with four kids. This room provided enough space for all of the luggage, two TVs, a divided room, and a fabulous complimentary breakfast complete with omelets and waffles. The location was in a shopping center with many other shops and stores to accommodate our family.

Room had a king size bed with fresh smelling sheets and bathrooms/showers were clean. we were close to downtown and did not have a ocean view, but because of accessibility, we will defintely come back and stay again, hopefully in the near future.

The hotel is an excellent value for those traveling with a large family. Our suite was very spacious and had 2 queen beds and a sofa-bed.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend golf tournament. The breakfast and managers receptions were a great perk. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable.

Overall good place to stay. Close to town and in nice shopping center. The complimentary happy hour and the breakfast buffet were both excellent additions to the stay. The facility was nice and clean. The room was good sized and had a living room attached. Good sized bathroom. Would recommend it to someone.

First room assigned to us had a one foot wide window facing a wall, no balcony and very dark. Upon complaining, second room had wide sliding glass door with balcony. Adjacent to big mall (Sears, Best Buy, Cost Plus) and Madonna Inn. Not walking distance to Downtown. High cost reduced by free breakfast (inc. Made to order omelets and free drinks at Happy Hour). Clean and modern lobby, rooms are dated, at least the two we saw. I'm a frequent guest at Comfort Suites; this one is a mild disappointment because of dated rooms and motion activated A/C is terrible at bedtime leaving you to bake on warm evenings. As a frequent San Luis Obispo visitor, will keep checking out other hotels but probably would return in the future mainly due to the free breakfasts and not having to spend the time to get breakfast.( a huge plus time wise.). read more
